It has been quite some time since the last Brand Profile post and it has been something I have wanted to revisit ever since. I will be kicking these off again and to start I am sharing with you one of my all time favourite skincare brands, La Prairie. This brand not only makes amazing skincare that really works, but they do it in a way that makes you feel a million dollars. It is luxury at its finest and a brand that everyone should experience at least once.

If you have ever asked me for skincare advice, chances are my answer has included La Prairie in some form. I am yet to have a bad experience with any of their products or services, and it is a brand I am genuinely giddy to see in-store or at a spa.

To give you some extra insight into the La Prairie brand, I have spoken with La Prairie Australia’s Managing Director, Rosi Fernandez.

Who is the La Prairie customer?

The La Prairie Customer is a woman who is serious about her skincare. She is educated, has researched her options and has chosen to repeatedly use La Prairie for the results it delivers. What is the history behind La Prairie? Who, why, when it was created?

La Prairie traces its heritage to Montreaux, Switzerland at Clinique La Prairie where exclusive treatments were administered to many high profile guests including politicians and celebrities. For more than half a century the Clinique was the pioneer in cellular and anti-aging technology sharing their advances with thousands of visitors from around the world.

What is the difference between La Prairie and other premium skincare brands? Why should we try the La Prairie products?

What can we look forward to from La Prairie this year?

This is a very exciting time at La Prairie. The latest launch product debuting in September 2012 joins the iconic Caviar Collection, Skin Caviar Liquid Lift, La Prairie’s most innovative product to date. Skin Caviar Liquid Lift, an age defying serum that offers lifting, firming and nourishment like never before. Featuring the highest concentration of pure Caviar Extract, La Prairie’s famous golden caviar pearls are suspended in an anti-wrinkle serum that envelop the skin in a silken veil. The effects are both immediate and long-lasting; a taut, firm, fabulous face in just one drop.

We have always been skin care innovators, launching the latest in technologically advance ingredients with state of the art delivery systems, but this year we will also be reaching consumers beyond our traditional store experience of department store and high end salon. La Prairie is currently available online through , we will also be available on David Jones’ state of the art new website, launching in September 2012.

We are thrilled to be partnering with the two best spas in Australia. In April this year we launched at The Spa at the Darling, a 16 room haven of elegance has proven to be Sydneysiders latest addiction. We are now very proud to be announce that from September 2012, La Prairie will be partnering with the newly renovated Crown Towers Spa in Melbourne, The new Crown Spa will be unveiled in September 2012 following a multi-million redevelopment. The newly enhanced Crown Spa will set a new benchmark for luxurious urban day spas complete with couples pampering rooms and an extensive range of treatments.  La Prairie will be the luxury skincare partner, launching with a range of 5-star facials including the Crown Spa exclusive “White Caviar Illuminating” treatment.  The La Prairie success is based on having skincare that delivers results by using the latest technology, coupled with the impeccable service experience that only passionate experts can deliver.
