Last night I attended the Harper’s Bazaar Youth Movement Cosmetic Enhancement event. Held at the divine Observatory Hotel in Sydney it was a night for Readers to get an insight into the new developments in Cosmetic Enhancement. An expert from selected fields had consultation rooms set-up for 1-on-1 discussions. A great opportunity to ask all those tricky questions without having to pay the hefty consultation fee usually required.

The Experts

Dr Angie Lang from Love Your Smile Dental Care specialises in Cosmetic Dentistry (and yes she had beautiful teeth)
Dr Peter Laniewski is a Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon who specialises in Skin (He didn’t fill me with over-confidence)
Dr Michael Miroshnik specialises in Breast Augmentation (He had many fun implants to play with. They feel so weird!)
and my favourite of the night….
Dr William Mooney, an ENT & Facial Cosmetic Surgeon

The Other Stuff

Firstly, I really enjoyed the Moet! I did only stick to one glass so I could actually pay attention (….and stay upright). There was lots of competitions to enter and prizes were given out at the end of the evening. I did not win but I won’t be a sore loser. I am happy for the others. Good for them. There was a large hamper from True Solutions up for grabs which I would have LOVED but it’s ok. I won’t complain. See I am fine….
Beaute Pacifique were there also offering free Derma scan’s to see how old your skin really is. Unfortunately the line was terribly long but I did purchase some of their Cosmeceutical products so stay tuned for some reviews coming in the near future.
All up it was an interesting and informative event. I would highly suggest attending in future if you have ever wondered about changing something. At only $30 it is a small price to pay for the wealth of information you get.
