Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia has finished showing off Australia’s design talent for the Spring/Summer 2014 season. In this Get The Look you can recreate the contoured brown shades as seen at Maticevski. The look was created by Nigel Stanislaus for Maybelline New York.
The look is all about expensive luxury skin. Toni didn’t want it to look too old fashioned, so again we are not going with heavy foundation. We are going to use foundation, but with clever techniques to hide the fact that we have. We are going to use FITme and BB Cream to do so, powder it a little bit, and stroke down the cheek and around the eyes. After that, we are going to use Too Cool to raise the bridge and cheeks up, and a bit of Baby Lips on the lips because Toni doesn’t like lipstick at all, but the condition of the lips still needs to be good. Finally we are going to put a bit of brown mascara at the base of the lashes, just to give it that little kick because we aren’t going to use any eyeliner at all. Eyeliner was originally created in the 50’s and 60’s to make it look like you had more eyelashes, and now mascara is the same thing – if you have that definition you really don’t need an eyeliner.
