Spring is almost over for me but I still thought I should do a little spring clean of my makeup bag before I hit summer. I like to pick out a bunch of new products to keep in my makeup bag for an entire season, and occasionally change out one or two products when I am trialling. I don’t like to trial all new products at the same time because if I have a bad reaction to something I won’t be able to narrow down the perpetrator.
The contents of this makeup bag is the makeup products I used mostly throughout Autumn. These are my day-to-day products which I like to keep neutral or trans-seasonal so when I am in a rush I can throw it on and know I won’t look out of place. All my other makeup is within easy reach so if I feeling like something different I can grab an eyeshadow or lipstick to change it up.
Face / Complexion
Stila – Garden Bliss Palette
This is an oldie from a limited edition set in 2011. I have been using it for the soft, sweet pink blush it contains but it also holds 4 neutral eyeshadows I use on occasion. Read my full review.

Probably my most favourite BB cream to date. It makes me skin look fresh and flawless, and I can use it as a primer or on its own. Read my full review.

You may have noticed an absence of lip products and that is because I never keep lip products in my cosmetic bag. I keep a handful in my handbag, some on my bedside table, a heap in my desk drawer and then of course I have containers full in my beauty cupboard. You can find lots of reviews of lip products on the site as well as snaps I share on Instagram.
