Picking a nail colour that had to last me through moving house, overseas travel and a week of business events was one of the toughest decisions I’ve made all year. I always get a gel-polish or gel manicure before I travel or do anything labour intensive because it keeps my nails protected, but the addition of attending lots of business meetings meant I had to carefully consider the colour choice. Red is a fail safe option (especially Big Apple Red) but this time I wanted something a little more fashion forward while still keeping true to my classic sense of style. The answer: White.
I opted for OPI Gel Color in Alpine Snow. The full-coverage white is perfect in the Gel Colour formula because it looks glossy and flawless …. if done correctly. White is one of the hardest nail colours to apply perfectly but when it’s done, it looks incredible.
White nail polish may sound a little street-walker but if you keep your nails short to mid-length and shape them oval they’ll look stylish. White nails also makes your hands look a tad darker, which is great for someone as white as me. Instant tan!
