It has been sooooo long since I have seen the inside of a Sephora and I been thirsty for a taste of that sweet, sweet Sephora experience. Whenever I am lucky enough to make it over to the USA I always buy a Sephora gift card of some stupid amount so that when I get back home I can still place an order (damn them and not accepting international credit cards) and send it to a friend. I trust my friends way more than a parcel forwarding company so this is the safest way for me to get my fix without buying a $2000 airline ticket.
Today I have my Sephora haul to show you and I am hoping it will be one of many in 2013. Realistically, it is highly unlikely but a girl can dream.
Now let me be clear, all of these items were purchased purely for the interest of this blog. I am always doing things for you. Just know that. Anyway, let’s get into the goods and see what I bought.
To begin, I had to get the YSL Glossy Stains purely to compare them with the L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse. I picked #10 Rouge Philtre and #13 Rose Tempura. If you want to see a comparison post let me know! USA $34 from Sephora
Urban Decay’s special edition palettes for Oz The Great and Powerful movie. I couldn’t choose between Glinda or Theodora so I got both to suit my equally good and bad personality. USA $49 from Sephora
Urban Decay took their popular ‘Naked’ range into complexion products like Foundation, and now invading BB territory with their Beauty Balm. It is only SPF 20 so that is sad but I am sure it will be amazing. I am yet to find an Urban Decay product I don’t love. USA $34 from Sephora
Ciaté is a brand I am yet to try but I have heard so many wonderful things. I thought I would give their Velvet Manicure a go because we are yet to have anything like it in Australia (although I know Ciaté has just started selling at Mecca Cosmetica but this product is currently unavailable). I chose Berry Poncho but it is also available in Mink Cashmere (grey). USA $19 from Sephora
Do you get nail polish on the side skin of your nails? I do. All the time. So when I saw this little gadget on the Sephora website I had to grab it. It’s called Perfect Manicure and it is part of the Sephora Collection range. Hopefully it solves all my messy polish problems. USA $7 from Sephora
Nails Inc. London is really new to Australia so we rarely see all the fun kits they release. The Bling It On Hologram kit looked so awesome I just had to have it. I am a huge fan of 3D glitter nail art with so I think this will be fun. USA $25 from Sephora
Last but not least are the samples. Sephora samples are so fun. I chose a sample of AmorePacific Moisture Bond Vitalizing Masque, Algenist Overnight Restorative Cream and GLAMGLOW Super-Mud Clearing Treatment. I also used a coupon code and grabbed a deluxe sample of Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer.
