HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!
To those who celebrate this holiday (?) I wish you lots of love, peace and joy. I personally like to celebrate Valentine’s Day by eating as much boxed chocolate as I can, adorning my nails with Valentine’s Day prettiness and playing with the girliest of girly makeup. And when it comes to beauty products, is there anything more girly than love hearts? I think not.
Here are my top picks for love heart inspired beauty.
Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush
How super cute is this love heart blush. Three doses of blush in rose, coral, and peach allow you to either swirl the colors together and apply, or use more of one shade for a custom flush or highlight. The baked color formula is buildable and looks good on all skin tones.

UK £24 from BeautyBay
Nicole by OPI Have A Heart
This is one of my favourite Nicole by OPI nail lacquers. I included in my Valentine’s picks of 2011 and it is still a polish I have to have in my collection. A clear lacquer base is accented with sheer silver glitter and pink love hearts. It is great by itself for a touch of easy nail art or layer it over a coloured nail like a glitter top coat.
Australia $14.95 from Nicole by OPI, Hairhouse Warehouse, Terrry White Chemists and selected pharmacies.
USA $6.99 from Drugstore.com
UK – Unable to locate stockist at this time.
Hello Kitty Sweet Lips Balm
These adorable lip balms from Hello Kitty come in a range of yummy flavours and shapes, four of which are in a love heart. You can choose from Creamy Vanilla, Strawberry Ice Cream (pictured), Sweet Candy and Milky Coconut for a love heart that will leave you with a pretty pout.
Australia $5.95 from Heritage Brands and selected stockists.
