Workout Fashion
A recent study proved that if you wear appropriate workout gear that not only functions well but looks good, you are more likely to continue exercise and achieve greater results. My one and only new years resolution in 2014 is get fit and tone up. Sure, it has superficial motives because I want to look hot but nevertheless the goal is still the same. I wan’t to rock this task so I thought I better take a look at my workout wardrobe. The result? I have nothing!

I’ve commenced group personal training to start out the year. The worst part about having nothing but old t-shirts and track pants with worn-out elastic is that not only do I feel bad because I know I look bad, but I feel even worse because people can see me look this bad. It definitely makes me want to stop exercising and run to hide under my doona. I guess that study was right!

Prior to becoming vegan I had a long-term relationship with bloating. I would bloat as soon as I ate or drank something and the pain would last for hours, usually easing just in time for my next meal. It was uncomfortable, it impacted negatively on my life and most of all it made me feel & look bad. Due to a major diet and lifestyle change I no longer have those issues but I know many people who do. My recommendation is moving to a plant-based diet, it has worked wonders for me, but I was curious if there were other ways to relieve a bloating gut so I asked celebrity nutritionist and chef, Zoe Bingley-Pullin, for her recommendations.

I have a terrible back. Like, really terrible. If you were to guess my age based entirely on how often I throw my back out you would probably put me at around 80 years old. The problem is that I know exactly what is wrong with it – I have a weak back. I sit on a computer day & night, I don’t exercise as much as I should, my boobs are getting heavier the more weight I put on and I carry a handbag that would exceed airline luggage limits. Unfortunately I am not the only one experiencing back pain at a young age as it is becoming more common due to our inactive lifestyles. So what can we do to change this and prevent back pain?
