This week we heard from one of our male readers who needed a little advice in the skincare department, namely unrelenting dark under eye circles. Here is his question:
I’d like to say long time fan first time emailer, as a man I have dark circles under my eyes what would be your favourite product to deal with this
I have tried the hydra eneergetic for men but it was not as good I currently use the olay for men eye cream
First things first, dark circles under your eyes can be caused by many different things. Dehydration, lack of sleep, stress, poor diet, and health problems are the most common causes. Dark circles can also be present thanks to hereditary genes and you could just be one of the lucky people who actually have darker skin on that part of your face. If none of the above are what cause your dark circles, than an under eye product should be enough to ward the darkness off.
Finding the right one will come down to trial and error but there are lots of new and promising formula’s out there. Just remember that you don’t have to stick to a product for men, there are lots of unisex and female targeted products that may work for you better than the mens one.
I had a wonderful experience with the DMK Bihaku Treatment, but if you are looking for something to use daily I recommend the following.
NeoStrata – Eye Cream PHA 4
Nivea For Men Skin Energy Eye Roll-on
Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller
Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Anti-Fatigue Cooling Eye Gel
