Alkyloamides

Synthetic fatty acids. Some common forms are DEA (diethanolamine), cocamide DEA, triethanolamine (TEA), and MEA (monoethanolamine). They are used variously in skincare and beauty products as foam boasters, emulsifiers, waxes, thickeners, gelling and conditioning agents. Primarily found in shampoos, soaps, bubble baths, hand and body cleansers.
