According to research conducted by scientists from Holland’s National Institute of Public Health and Environment, dark chocolate has four times as many antioxidants as tea. The research results indicated that dark chocolate has 53.5mg of catechins per 100g, milk chocolate has 15.9mg per 100g, whereas black tea contains a mere 13.9mg per 100mL. Note: it’s important to bear in mind the amount of fat and sugar contained in chocolate.
