Lemongrass Oil

Cymbopogon – volatile oil obtained through steam distillation of the fresh leaves of an aromatic grass. Used traditionally for its insecticide, antiseptic and tonic properties, it is commonly found in pet products, soaps, cosmetics, deodorants, perfumes, massage oils, insect sprays and mosquito repellents. The main component of lemongrass oil, citral, can be a skin irritant.
