Tocotrienols

Part of the vitamin E family (vitamin E includes eight related fat soluble vitamins) considered the most potent form of vitamin E due to its strong antioxidant and photo protection properties. Tocotrienols penetrate rapidly through skin, efficiently combating oxidative stress induced by the sun or ozone. Good food sources include rice bran, palm and coconut oils, and cereals. Can also be synthesised. See Vitamin E.
