Sephora Best Buys

If there were just one minority of people who knew how to expertly shop for beauty products it would have to be beauty bloggers. I’m heading to the USA soon and it’s been a long time since I stepped foot in my beloved beauty store, Sephora. By now I thought Sephora would be shipping to Australia but as we know, that isn’t happening. To assist me in preparing a shopping list I called on my fellow beauty bloggers from the Beauty Blog Coalition to tell me which one product they deemed an essential Sephora purchase.

“If you’re a bright eyeshadows type, you NEED the Urban Decay Electric palette. If you’re a bright lips type, you NEED the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks.” – Phyrra

“This may be a simple one… but it’s a staple in my makeup collection and I can’t do eye makeup without it. If you love wearing eye shadow and are looking for an eye primer that will assist with color that will last all day and keep your shadow from creasing – go with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I’ve been using it since 2008 and it still remains a Holy Grail for me.” – Honey Girls Worlds

“Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush and OCC Lip Tars” – TheFabZilla

“Algenist Advanced Anti-Aging Oil. It’s the best thing ever made for your skin. It’s healing and moisturizing and I would shrivel up without it” – Polarbelle

“YSL Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual lipsticks – Specifically Nude Beige – Perfect shade for anyone!” – Love for Lacquer

“Definitely the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes (yes, all of them) and get yourself at least one of the Marc Jacobs Beauty. Personally, I can’t live with out the Style Eye-Con No.7 – Plush Shadow in The Starlet 204!” – Blushing Noir

Rosebud Salve – great for lips and chapped skin.” – Polish Galore

“The Sephora Pantone Blush Palette – I believe the current one is called Rush Luster Cheek Sweep. Loves it!” – Polish Insomniac

“Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders – Unlike most powders, these are not complexion-specific. Each color is meant to make the skin glow with a different kind of light – from morning sunrise (“Dim Light”) to candlelight (“Luminous Light”); it’s almost like Instagram filters in real life. ” – Glamorable

“Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion” – Never Say Die Beauty

“The Buxom Full Bodied Lip Gloss Collection – Awesome assortment of nudes and brights. Great for your purse. Love them.” – Everyday Beauty Blog

“Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – I want to own about 5 more actually.” – Beauty Info Zone

“Sephora has a surprisingly high quality in-house brand (The Sephora Collection). I’m a die-hard fan of their bronzers and blushes. They’re pigmented and blend so easily into the skin.” – Slashed Beauty

“Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, I buy these two at a time (only $10 ea), it won’t smudge or flake while making the lashes look longer” – Beauty by Krystal

“The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette. You need it!” – Icy Nails

“Too Faced La Creme Lipstick. A wonderful formula that comes in a plethora of shades that suit the natural beauty to the bold of heart! Very hydrating on the lips too!” – Portrait of Mai

“This is an obvious one, but the original Naked palette from Urban Decay. I love it and I still use it all of the time. Another is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes, they’re amazing.” – Confessions of a Makeup Addict
