The best new beauty products on shelves this April include the fantastic new Autumn-Winter 2017 collection by Essence, Jane Iredale’s Autumn collection, Sally Hansen’s new Miracle Gel shades and an entire new range of lipsticks from Estée Lauder. Your skin can also get treated to some newbies from Lonvitalite and Rimmel London.
The new collection from Essence is fantastic, but there are some real stand-outs that I feel are quite different for a drugstore line. The standout of the pack has to be the My Must Haves palette – a build-your-own palette concept consisting of a 4-pan palette and your choice of 20 shades in the form of click-in eyeshadow pans. Or perhaps it’s the All I Need concealer palette – 5 different shades to cover all your concealing needs. There are also 3 other types of concealers in the collection, 3 new mascaras, two ranges of nail polish, Instant Matt makeup setting spray, lots of new eyeshadows and so much more.
Two new sheet masks are on the market this month from Australian masks company, Lonvitalite. The anti-aging S2 Collagen Firming & Moisturising Silk Sheet Face mask and a hydrating S4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Silk Sheet Mask.
Priming sprays are a growing sector in the makeup world so it’s exciting to see Rimmel come out with one available at your local drugstore. The Insta Fix & Go 2 in 1 Primer and Setting Spray covers all your makeup spraying needs in one handy bottle.
Australia $13.95 from Priceline, Target, Kmart and selected pharmacies
Autumn in Australia can be quite chilly but the new Autumn 2017 colour collection from Jane Iredale is warming things up with some beautiful new shades in their award winning formulas. My beloved PureMoist lipsticks welcome two new shades, Susan (rerelease – soft cool pink) and Lisa (creamy rose beige). The lippies are joined by 2 new PurePressed Eye Shadow Triples, In Touch cream blush in Candid and the Peaches & Cream Bronzer Refill.
Miracle Gel Rustic Charm Collection is a limited-edition nail polish collection inspired by autumnal country landscapes, featuring classic colours that pop. It contains six shades, including Little Peony (cotton candy pink), Sweet Tea (pale peach), Bourbon Belle (deep peach), Frill Seeker (creamy neutral), Terra-Coppa (earthy copper) and Mauve-olous (beige-infused medium pink).
Australia $16.95 each from Priceline, Target, Kmart and selected pharmacies
