In the best news to ever happen to a beauty lover, I’m excited to announce that Sephora have just gone live with international shipping. Here is the official word:
Sephora offers international shipping through our partnership with global e-commerce provider Borderfree. By placing an international order, you acknowledge that your transaction will be with Borderfree. Your customer service needs will be handled directly by Sephora.
For Canadian orders and shipping, please visit and shop www.sephora.ca.
Sephora U.S. currently ships to the contiguous 48 U.S. states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and to the following international locations: Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
Shipping to other international destinations and U.S territories (such as Guam) is unavailable at this time.
Please be advised that orders shipped outside the U.S. and Canada are not eligible for Beauty Insider free shipping benefits, offers requiring a promotion code, or free returns.
Don’t wait a second longer. Hit up Sephora now!
UPDATE 1 March: Sephora have recanted on their international shipping to Australia. They have answered numerous tweets and Facebook messages from customers who were trying to use their new process but were unable to proceed with Australia.
In response to my own request for clarification on the decision they had this to say
Unfortunately, our plans to ship to Australia are currently on hold as we work out our international shipping launch. For shipping Sephora products to Australia, please continue to use tarazz, http://www.sephora.com/australia, for the time being. We appreciate your understanding!
As many of you may know, Tarazz only offer a very limited selection of products.
I for one am extremely upset over this error. For a company of their size and standard I would expect they would have triple-checked everything before going live with such a claim. I’m angry but will it put a dent in my desire to shop with them? Time will tell.
