I have been holding off these images for a little while because I wanted to wait till a more appropriate time. I have decided today is that day. Back in August when I visited Cosmoprof North America, I got a sneak peek at some of the Halloween launches from nail brands China Glaze and Color Club. Today I am going to show you the photos I snapped.
China Glaze – Haunting Collection
The size piece collection released by China Glaze for Halloween 2011 had me mighty excited. I really didn’t see this coming but the one that got me most excited was the presence of a Glow-In-The-Dark lacquer.
Counter display of individual bottles and the mini 4-pack
- Black Mesh (crackle)
- Haunting (glitter)
- Crimson (cream)
- Near Dark (cream)
- It’s Alive (glitter)
- Ghoulish Glow (glow in the dark)
Mini 4-pack – US $12.99 at Sally Beauty of US $11.96 at Trans Design (international shipping available)
Individual bottles – from US $2.99 at Trans Design (international shipping available)
To view the official colour samples visit China Glaze online. If you are in Australia you can contact the Aussie distributor at Hawley but I had no luck finding out stockist or price information from them.
Color Club – Bewitching Collection
I have never seen a Halloween collection involve limited edition gems, but that is exactly what Color Club have released. From what I can tell, it is the same collection as they released last year, but I am only basing that on the fact there seems to be a number of blogs who swatched this for Halloween 2010. To be honest, I tried getting the official word from Color Club owners, Forsythe Cosmetic Group, but they didn’t respond. Either way, I think it is a cute collection.
Counter display of the mini packs and gems
- Bewitched (cream)
- Charmed, I’m Sure (cream)
- Spellbound (shimmer)
- Hocus Pocus (glitter)
The polishes come in a mini 4-pack with a sheet of nail decals. Also available is the adorable Halloween gems set.
In the middle are the decals from the Polish pack
Polish pack – US $8.46 from Trans Design (international shipping available) and US $9.46 from Nail Supplies (international shipping available). I was unable to find any pricing or retailers for the gems 🙁
For more information on the collection head to the Color Club website. Color Club do sell products on their website but for some reason this collection is not in their shop. Despite my best attempts I did not get any answers from these guys about availability, official pricing, etc.
