I love walking out of my over-air-conditioned office into the hot sunlight. It feels so good – down to the bones. While that feeling only lasts about 5 minutes (or until I start to sweat), it is so worth the 100-degrees-plus temps in Tucson, Arizona. Only we natives get it.

I live in sub-tropical Queensland, Australia, so my favourite thing about summer is, just as a summer storm calms, all of the cicadas, frogs and other noisy critters emerge to begin their orchestral cacophony, and although deafening at times, it truly is beautiful and peaceful to listen to.

What I enjoy the most about summer is that it`s not cold. Less likely to get sick. You get to spend most of the time outside and enjoy the nature. Other then enjoying the fresh air, you can wear more variety of clothes and participate in more outdoor activities. Just being in the water is a thumbs up for me. What I enjoy most about summer is NO SNOW!!!! We get lot’s of snow here in the winter and sometimes have to shovel 4 times a day….it’s only Dec 17th and already the snow piles are so high in the front yard, we had to move them so we could continue to shovel the driveway and sidewalks….. ugh!!!

summer is all about fun with friends and family! every year we go camping and canoeing…which always leads to me needing a weekend of spa pamper! we go fishing and boating on lake erie as many weekends as we can. After spending 6 years in London, I am now back on Australian soil. I’m loving the free outdoor events in Perth such as the street parties and open air cinemas. A dip in the ocean is always a winner as it is very revitalising. To keep cool there is nothing better than cold fresh watermelon or a lovely Australian brew. I love the sweet smells of summer, the eucalyptus trees, the budding jacaranda’s, the smell of the ocean, the smell of the sun hitting the pavement during the day. A lovely drive to the country is a good treat, just to sit under a tree and enjoy the serenity. Nothing beats a barbecue at the beach with friends watching the sun set into the ocean. I love summer!

Summer is a very special season for me. I love to spend my holidays with my mother and with my friends. I love to be with my boyfriend and just forget the world! It’s a perfect time to me for being with the ones I love and relax. Relax in the beach, with the sound of the sea and the perfect color of the sky!

What I love the most about summer is staying up all night partying, camping, going to the beach and the atmosphere during summer. We get time to reflect on who we are and live the month to the fullest without worrying about school or work.Everyone’s happy and it’s just awesome x

The most part of summer I enjoy is I swim in the ocean.
