Desert Island Beauty Packing List

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve been asked what my desert island beauty picks would be. My answer is always sunscreen. Hands down, it’s the most important because without it we would burn to a crisp, dehydrate and die. But what if you knew you were going to a deserted island for 4 days, with 3 of your friends, a heap of beer and delicious meals? What beauty supplies would you need then? Will this one stack up to my original love? My review below has the answer. Continue Reading

One of the harder parts about going vegan is replacing your favourite beauty with cruelty-free options, but you would be surprised to know that many of the great cosmetics in the market are actually cruelty-free or vegan already. With the increased public demand for compassionate products we’re seeing more brands changing their ways without compromising the quality or performance of their products. It’s a win win win – for us, the animals and the environment.

Take a look at my top picks and see if your favourite makes the cut, or perhaps find a replacement for your animal-tested products. Continue Reading

Sunscreen For Summer Travel

Possibly the one thing that was easy for me to pack for my trip to Bali was sunscreen. I love sunscreen and I use it everyday but going for an island getaway where I know there will be activities such as swimming means I have to factor in more protection than required when I am sitting in my office each day. I took that as my license to bring multiples.

Here are the sunscreens accompanying me on my holiday. Surely half a dozen will cover it?  Continue Reading
