Brooke Shields x MAC Cosmetics

I honestly think MAC Cosmetics are picking stranger and stranger people to collaborate with. The latest is Brooke Shields, which would have been fitting for the actress, author, and former model about 20 years ago but now? I’m just not so sure.

Back in the day Brooke was a gorgeous model and these days she is still a striking woman. I loved her in Suddenly Susan but she isn’t a person I would think of when it comes to remarkable style or gorgeous facial features. While her eyebrows have always been a bit of a topic amongst beauty watchers, no one can deny that her big, dark brows are now completely on-trend. So what does this mean for an entire cosmetic collection created in part by her? Let’s take a closer look. Continue Reading

MAC Cosmetics Kelly and Sharon Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne has become one of the most stylish power-players in recent times but it wasn’t too long ago she was making bad fashion choices and dying her hair bright blue. Sharon Osbourne has always been an eclectic lady and someone I’d always considered fierce. Together, they are a dynamic team and it doesn’t surprise me in the least that MAC Cosmetics would want to partner with them. I present to you their limited-edition colour collection.  Continue Reading

Margot Robbie Chocolate Hairstyle

I’ve loved Margot Robbie ever since she was just a bright-eyed new girl on Neighbours. She always had a classy look about her and now that she is a fully-fledged movie star we get to see her work the glamour she was made for. As a brunette Margot looks mature, mysterious and damn sexy. I love this look she recently wore on the red carpet. You can recreate her glamorous chocolate waves hairstyle with 4 simple products and this tutorial.  Continue Reading

Best Vegan Skincare Brands

Everyone has their own opinion on what skincare should do and be, but for me it’s all about aiming for perfection. I don’t want skincare that does the bare minimum and let’s me age gracefully. I only want to use skincare that WORKS – constantly improving my skin and getting it to function at it’s very best. That’s why I’m sharing with you the best vegan skincare brands.

People often confuse my choice to be vegan as somehow meaning I don’t care about my aesthetics any more. They couldn’t be more wrong! My strict standards for top performing skincare isn’t lessened by my cruelty-free choices. If anything, it makes my standards even higher.

There’s a misconception that cruelty-free and vegan skincare is unable subpar; that they’re less effective than animal-based skincare formulations. While this may have been the case decades ago when vegan skincare exclusively meant “natural” products with little to no scientific basis, skincare development has come a long way since then. Don’t get me wrong, there are still hundreds of natural skincare brands out there that do exactly what I don’t want – they don’t improve your skin, they just make it feel and smell nice – and there is a market for those. Not everyone is deathly afraid of aging like me. However, if you strive for clear, healthy and progressively improving skin despite the years passing us by, than I have exactly what you need.

My list of top performing skincare brands will introduce you to the changemakers. The hard-working, highly efficient skincare that allows you to take charge of your own aging appearance. And it just so happens they’re also the best vegan skincare brands too!  Continue Reading
