Best temporary hair color products

I’m loving my bright pink/purple/fuchsia/heck-knows hair but the one downside is that I can’t change the colour as frequently or easily as I would hope. If I were to do it all over again I would stick to blonde hair and use temporary colour products to give me the fix I need. In fact, that’s my advice to you. Don’t bother with permanent hair dye in bright colours …. temporary is the way to go.

One booming trend in hair right now is dip dyed colourful locks, and even though it has been building momentum for quite sometime, this is a fad that isn’t going to fade away quickly. For brunette’s it is a trend much harder to get a hold of. Kevin.Murphy have made it easier with the release of their Color.Bug hair pigments and I know they work having personally used it on my own dark brown hair. BUT, I wanted to test if the traditional method of coloured chalk would work because if it did, it would be a big money saver.

Today I am showing you a little test I did comparing Kevin.Murphy Color.Bug to a classic piece of Texta Dustless Chalk. I opted for Pink (hello, my favourite colour). Unfortunately my camera died when I was taking the prep shots so I was forced to do this on my webcam (photography fail) so please forgive me for the less than satisfactory quality.
