In the first Welcome To My Beauty Cupboard post I introduced Milani Cosmetics, a brand well-known and loved in the USA. Today I am taking a look at Essence Cosmetics, a brand that practically rules the German cosmetic market and have recently landed on Australian shores.
My instant feelings upon seeing the display units and the products was that this brand is going to be making waves. Australia, I am so excited for us!
What Is Essence Cosmetics?
The must have in beauty: trends, fun, unique – but never expensive! With a striking range of quality cosmetics, essence is the ultimate brand for all beauty queens.
Essence is a range of on-trend quality colour cosmetics, that’s as unique, creative and surprising as you are.
All products are made in Europe and offer excellent coverage, vibrant pigments, and super smooth textures that are easy to apply and blend beautifully.
The brand is number one in Germany, and represents a quarter of all cosmetics sales in that country. Think about that for a moment. A population of about 81 million people, over half of those being female. That is huge.
The big draw card for me with this brand has to be that it isn’t tested on animals. For a company to have such low price points (seriously, wait till you see them below) it is refreshing to see that they have a strong stance against animal cruelty.
In the USA Essence is stocked at Ulta and many other stores. In Australia, the brand will be exclusive to Target.
My New Collection
My knowledge of Essence Cosmetics was pretty limited. I had seen lots of their nail lacquers appear on beauty blogs, but I never knew how big and diverse their range was. Now that it has arrived in Australia, I am gobsmacked. The most shocking thing of all, the price points. Just look at the prices of these things!
