Judy is this awesome nail blogger I met way back in 2011 at Cosmoprof and when I discovered her site, BeautyJudy.com, I was amazed at her nail application talents. Of course Judy is an awesome beauty blogger in every other aspect but I think girls who can consistently paint their nails this well are deserving of a Noble Prize or something equivalent. Today Judy has been so kind to share with us one of her Christmas nail art tutorials featuring a Santa Suit.

They are so adorable and if you do give it a try please share some the snaps with us via Twitter, Facebook or InstagramContinue Reading

Magnetic nail polish has been a huge trend this year and it is one I spotted back in August 2011 when I was introduced to the Layla Cosmetics brand at Cosmoprof. Since then, but mostly in the last few months, nearly ever major nail polish brand have released their own version. I will be showing you a lot of these over the coming weeks but for now I am starting with the ORLY Magnetic FX collection I picked up at Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo. Continue Reading

Remember how I went to Cosmoprof North America way back in August last year? Don’t worry if you don’t, I forget things too. In fact, I kind of forgot to finish unpacking my luggage until … oh let’s just say …. Christmas! Despite having already shared my hauls from Milani, CVS, Ulta, MAC Cosmetics, and Sephora Part 1 and Part 2, there are in fact a lot more products I haven’t shown you yet. Yes, yes, I am sick and I have issues. I know.

Today I am going to show you the mega nail polish haul. To be honest, I don’t know what I was thinking collection all this nail polish because even if I painted my nails everyday for the next 100 years, I will never get through it all. On the plus side, they are all just soooooooooo pretty.

Some of the polishes you will have seen before as I pulled those out in the early days, but the majority were buried deep in a bag. Here I go ….

Zoya

Zoya create beautiful nail polishes all individually named with female names. I have always wanted to try their polishes but had never seen them in person until I went to Cosmoprof. Continue Reading

I have been holding off these images for a little while because I wanted to wait till a more appropriate time. I have decided today is that day. Back in August when I visited Cosmoprof North America, I got a sneak peek at some of the Halloween launches from nail brands China Glaze and Color Club. Today I am going to show you the photos I snapped.

China Glaze – Haunting Collection

The size piece collection released by China Glaze for Halloween 2011 had me mighty excited. I really didn’t see this coming but the one that got me most excited was the presence of a Glow-In-The-Dark lacquer.

I have been bursting at the seams to show you these VEGAN nail lacquers! You all know I love Pink. If you didn’t, now you do. Glitter nail polish is something I have only recently become infatuated with. Previously, it interested me, but I was no where near as in love with it as I am now. Of all the glitter polishes in the world at the moment, these three from SpaRitual have excited me the most (well, ok, in the last couple months that is).

SpaRitual is a brand I was completely unfamiliar with. I guess this post could also come under the series of Welcome To My Beauty Cupboard, because until recently, I had never tried nor owned their products. I came across them at Cosmoprof North America this year and was surprised to learn that SpaRitual was created by Shel Pink, the daughter of Jeff Pink (meet him here), creator of ORLY International.

After sharing with you two posts on awesome 2011 Breast Cancer Awareness / Pink Ribbon beauty products, I decided to dedicate an entire post just to these releases from SpaRitual. The collection is called ‘In Pink’ and contains three very special nail polishes with touching names.
