In case the enormous range and low price points didn’t inspire you enough to shop at Priceline, I think their new initiative will. In honour of Australian women (who happen to make up over 95% of Priceline’s customers), Priceline have created a way to give back to women. The Priceline Sisterhood is a national community program hoping to not only address the main issues affecting womens health and lifestyle, but actually make a difference in it.
What Is The Priceline Sisterhood?
I will take the exact phrasing from the official press release because it really does explain it best:
A national community program that has been developed to respond to the major health and wellbeing concerns of Australian women. The initiative will raise awareness and funds for six charities that provide help and support to women in the areas of heart health, mental health, family wellbeing and fighting cancer.
Each month one of the six charities will be put in the spotlight. Through national in-store promotions and online initiatives, the charities will receive lots of exposure and hopefully lots of money.
- Alzheimer’s Australia is the national body for people living with dementia, their families and carers. It provides leadership in policy and innovative services for those affected by dementia.
- ACCF is dedicated to eliminating cervical cancer in Australia and in developing countries through public awareness programs, screening, clinics and vaccinations. Its programs provide support for women living with cervical cancer and related women’s issues, and their families. Continue Reading
