Posts in Enzyme Masque

It has been a little while since I last spoke about my lover, DMK. Oh, sorry, I don’t mean the man behind the brand himself. No, I mean the skincare line is my lover. Truly, I have never been more in love with anything (don’t tell  my dogs!).

Way back in May I showed you the final evidence of my DMK Skincare Challenge makeover. I still use the products religiously and when people comment on my ‘great skin’ I instantly yell “DMK” at them. So for all of those who were aware of my deep and committed love for DMK, why haven’t you tried it yet?

I am sorry. I shouldn’t have got all narky at you. To make up for it, DMK and I want to award one of you with my most favourite product of all.

Ignore the actual face, just look at the skin. You can win it!

Revitalise Skincare Pack

Up for grabs is the beautifully packaged, summer essential At Home Enzyme Masque kit, containing everything you need to get your skin looking as good as mine (big head much?!?). Some of you may remember this masque from this revealing post. It may look ‘unique’ but it is vital in my fight against aging.

Official Description

Foamy Lift and Exoderma Peel combine to create the ultimate DMK at home masque. The masque provides superior exfoliation by removing dead skin cell material to reveal a fresh, glowing complexion.

These unique formulations utilise messenger enzymes, used only by DMK. These enzymes provide a true form of nourishment to the skin cells to ensure your skin is not only exfoliated but left feeling fresh and soft as well.

It has now been 4 months since I started my life changing skincare challenge with Dannè Montague-King. The trial officially ran for 3 months so now that a month has passed, I feel it is appropriate to share with you my final thoughts. In a nutshell, they are a mix of jubilation and heartache.

I apologise now if this post is a little long for your liking. The experience has brought so much to my life and I really want to share it with you all. Most importantly I want to read your comments afterwards so make sure you tell me what you think!

What I Did For 3 Months

First I will give you a little refresher on the program. I started off with a complete overhaul of my at-home skincare regime. It was a little overwhelming but it didn’t take long for me to master every step. After 19 days I shared with you my updated regime which included more daily products, weekly clinic treatments, IPL and a very unique masque. In my eyes the differences were already enormous but I had no idea how much better things would get.

After 2 months my skin was getting better by the day, but my Continue Reading

I know it has been quite a while since I last updated you on my own progress at DMK. Ok, so 2 months, but it has been for good reason. Well, an average reason. You see, I didn’t want to spoil the exciting final results by showing you continuous progress photos. But don’t worry, I have been taking them and all will be revealed when I finish up my treatments in a couple of weeks.

This post is slightly different though because over the past 2 weeks I have been undergoing a special treatment just for my eyes. Before I get into it I do have to say that since starting my DMK skincare regiment, the dark circles have reduced dramatically, but mine were quite severe to start with so they needed some extra firepower to really make a difference.

Nineteen days ago I started on my new skincare regime using products from Dannè Montague-King. Being almost 3 weeks into the new schedule, I thought it might be nice to update you on my progress so far.

Over this time I have been using my skin prescribed skincare products every morning and night. After the first 7 days I had some additional products thrown into the mix because I had already started to see results with the first lot of products. Here is the NEW routine Continue Reading

Beauty blogger Kimberly Nissen of The Plastic Diaries reviews Dermaquest Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser

Face cleansers are seen as quite an underrated product in terms of our overall skincare needs, but they’re actually really important. The correct cleanser for your skin should remove dirt, debris and build-up that otherwise gets in the way of your other skincare products delivering their best results. A vast majority of skin issues can be activated simply by using the wrong cleanser. When it comes to anti-aging, it’s essential to not use a face cleanser that is drying or stripping. Hydration is key, and that’s one of the major claims behind the DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser.

As I continue my fight against aging and dry skin I’ve tested the DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser. Is it worth the price tag? Read on to find out.  Continue Reading

Female Hair Loss Before and After

Female hair loss and hair thinning are a growing sector within the beauty market. I used to think female hair loss was a beauty issue and as such could be treated with beauty products. Self-inflicted hair loss is my most common concern. I blamed my tight braids, hair irons and chemical damage. However, the fact remains that the leading causes for female hair loss are health related.

When my normal amount of hair fall dramatically increased, with noticeable receding of my hairline, I panicked. I didn’t know where to begin with treating it but I couldn’t understand why it was happening. I’d stop styling my hair in tight do’s, I rarely heat style and I haven’t dyed my hair in almost 2 years. I ruled out self-inflicted hair loss so I went straight to my GP (doctor) to ask for advice. It turns out that my female hair loss was completely reversible for less than $20!  Continue Reading

Beauty blogger Kimberly Nissen of The Plastic Diaries reviews Trefiel Lace Face Mask, Moisturising sheet mask skincare.

If you follow beauty on Instagram it’s highly likely you’ve seen the Trefiel Lace Sheet Mask. They look like a piece of black lace, often seen adorning the faces of cute beauty influencers. What they actually are is a range of sheet masks. Really pretty sheet masks.

The Trefiel Lace Sheet Mask is available in four formulations – Moisturising, Brightening, Repairing and Toning. Trefiel initially launched with just the Moisturising mask but later rebranded and added 3 more masks to the line-up. I chose to review their original Moisturising Face Mask.  Continue Reading
