Bikini Ready Summer Body

In Australia, we are clutching to the few remaining summer days. Above the equator, people are excited to welcome some warmer days. Whether you are about to enter spring or autumn we all have summer on our minds and the hopes it will roll around quickly. This is the time most people need to start planning what they will to do to get a great summer body, and if you want something quick and effective you really can’t beat a cosmetic enhancement or two.

In this Summer Body Guide I have asked Dr Cath Porter from Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA) and some cosmetic enhancement experts to tell us which non-surgical treatments will help you to achieve a body you will be proud to flaunt on the beach.  Continue Reading

I have done a fair few posts about Laser and IPL hair removal in the past, but it has been quite sometime since I had actually had a treatment so I thought I should take another go at it and see how the treatment has changed. I had heard about The Laser Lounge quite a bit recently and knew them from being one of the fine clinics that offer DMK (yes, my beloved skincare). I figured if they are good enough to use DMK, than they are good enough to wield a laser over my armpits.

Armpits are the one area I like to get treated most because I find they are so sensitive to all other forms of hair removal. My goal is to get that area as hair free as possible, so naturally I picked that area for this review. I decided on visiting The Laser Lounge in Sydney CBD, but they have a few locations which you will find listed at the end of this post. Now for the good part … Continue Reading

It is no secret that one of the most popular choices in non-surgical procedures are hair reduction from IPL and Laser. In the past I have done a number of features on the topic, including the difference between IPL and Laser, but I think there are still some important points that need to be hammered into our minds.

I spoke to Dr Susan Austin from the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA) to get her 5 facts on IPL and Laser Hair Removal. You may remember her from our last ‘5 Things You Need To Know’ on Botox. Take notes on this one …. or just bookmark it and come back to it.

Hair removal on the face – Ouchies!

The Facts from Dr Austin

  1. Avoid tanning before and after treatment
You cannot have a laser or IPL hair reduction treatment if you have a tan (fake or from sun-exposure or the solarium) because it can Continue Reading

It has now been 4 months since I started my life changing skincare challenge with Dannè Montague-King. The trial officially ran for 3 months so now that a month has passed, I feel it is appropriate to share with you my final thoughts. In a nutshell, they are a mix of jubilation and heartache.

I apologise now if this post is a little long for your liking. The experience has brought so much to my life and I really want to share it with you all. Most importantly I want to read your comments afterwards so make sure you tell me what you think!

What I Did For 3 Months

First I will give you a little refresher on the program. I started off with a complete overhaul of my at-home skincare regime. It was a little overwhelming but it didn’t take long for me to master every step. After 19 days I shared with you my updated regime which included more daily products, weekly clinic treatments, IPL and a very unique masque. In my eyes the differences were already enormous but I had no idea how much better things would get.

After 2 months my skin was getting better by the day, but my Continue Reading

This upcoming admission is probably not going to shock you, but …. I look at the Sephora USA website every day. Oh and I don’t just look at it, I browse almost every page in hope I will find something new and amazing that I have never heard of. With out a doubt I find something at least once a week, but unfortunately I rarely can buy it.

My last haul arrived way back in February and I am still slowing getting around to playing with everything. One item I put straight to use was this one, the DERMAdoctor Gorilla Warfare deodorant. With out a doubt I am one lazy groomer so if there is something that can combine two functions into one, I will love it …. Continue Reading
