Did you know that I’ve previously had skin cancer? It’s a story I have spoken about on a few occasions so catch up here if you haven’t read it. It’s one of the key reasons I write about sun protection as much as I do (the other being it helps prevent aging). The thing is, even though I’m very strict about protecting my skin I’m rather lazy when it comes to checking my skin. The truth is … I actually haven’t had a skin check since the cancer was removed. Bad, I know!

To continue my week of revealing personal stories I am going to tell you about the time I found out I had skin cancer. Yesterday I told you about the Rhinoplasty I had in 2008, and it is that story that intertwines with today’s story. I have mentioned to you in passing that skin cancer is a subject close to me and that I had a personal experience with it, but unless you went back to my posts from 2008 you wouldn’t know much else about it.
