I love palettes. I think they could actually be my most loved colour cosmetic of all. Whether it be an eyeshadow palette, a lip and cheek palette, or just an everything-in-one. There is something about having lots of pretty colours neatly packaged into one compact that gets me giddy, and apparently I’m not the only beauty blogger who feels that way.

Could you imagine a high-tech world where we can print out our colour cosmetics just like we do currently with paper. Can you picture yourself snapping a photo, picking a colour you like and printing it out into an eyeshadow pan instead of forking out cash (or card in my case) to buy it from a retailer? It sounds like a fantasy but one young woman has presented her concept that could become a reality. I’m yet to meet a beauty blogger who keeps their belongings and space to a minimum, but they’re some of the most organised and well-maintained individuals you can come across. When I found out I would be moving into a new house my first thought was, “NEW BEAUTY STORAGE!” (you’ll understand why after you see this).
If there were just one minority of people who knew how to expertly shop for beauty products it would have to be beauty bloggers. I’m heading to the USA soon and it’s been a long time since I stepped foot in my beloved beauty store, Sephora. By now I thought Sephora would be shipping to Australia but as we know, that isn’t happening. To assist me in preparing a shopping list I called on my fellow beauty bloggers from the Beauty Blog Coalition to tell me which one product they deemed an essential Sephora purchase. Continue Reading
