Posts in Rebecca Gibney

I really like when big, multi-national brands appoint an ambassador to represent the local market. Olay did just that way back in 2006 with Deborah Hutton, but yesterday they announced their newest ambassador and she couldn’t have been more perfect for the job. Currently Australian TVs favourite mum, Rebecca Gibney can add another duty to her roster because she will be the new face of Olay Regenerist.

What Is Olay Regenerist

Olay Regenerist offers advanced anti ageing skin care products that help regenerate skin’s appearance without drastic measures. Formulated with an exclusive Olay amino-peptide and B3 complex, Regenerist incorporates other proven anti ageing ingredients such as vitamin E, pro-vitamin B5, green tea extract, allantoin and glycerin. Regenerist renews skin’s most-outer layer one cell at a time, helps regenerate its appearance quickly, and strengthens its moisture barrier.

What I Say ….

Personally, I am a huge fan of Rebecca Gibney. Aside from all the talent and niceness, I truly think she is a gorgeous woman. I have to say the idea of being in my late 40’s is something that terrifies me, but if I look like Rebecca does without having any work or anything, I would be quite happy.

Rebecca openly admitted at the press conference Continue Reading

Beauty blogger Kimberly Nissen of The Plastic Diaries reviews Dermaquest Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser

Face cleansers are seen as quite an underrated product in terms of our overall skincare needs, but they’re actually really important. The correct cleanser for your skin should remove dirt, debris and build-up that otherwise gets in the way of your other skincare products delivering their best results. A vast majority of skin issues can be activated simply by using the wrong cleanser. When it comes to anti-aging, it’s essential to not use a face cleanser that is drying or stripping. Hydration is key, and that’s one of the major claims behind the DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser.

As I continue my fight against aging and dry skin I’ve tested the DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser. Is it worth the price tag? Read on to find out.  Continue Reading

Female Hair Loss Before and After

Female hair loss and hair thinning are a growing sector within the beauty market. I used to think female hair loss was a beauty issue and as such could be treated with beauty products. Self-inflicted hair loss is my most common concern. I blamed my tight braids, hair irons and chemical damage. However, the fact remains that the leading causes for female hair loss are health related.

When my normal amount of hair fall dramatically increased, with noticeable receding of my hairline, I panicked. I didn’t know where to begin with treating it but I couldn’t understand why it was happening. I’d stop styling my hair in tight do’s, I rarely heat style and I haven’t dyed my hair in almost 2 years. I ruled out self-inflicted hair loss so I went straight to my GP (doctor) to ask for advice. It turns out that my female hair loss was completely reversible for less than $20!  Continue Reading

Beauty blogger Kimberly Nissen of The Plastic Diaries reviews Trefiel Lace Face Mask, Moisturising sheet mask skincare.

If you follow beauty on Instagram it’s highly likely you’ve seen the Trefiel Lace Sheet Mask. They look like a piece of black lace, often seen adorning the faces of cute beauty influencers. What they actually are is a range of sheet masks. Really pretty sheet masks.

The Trefiel Lace Sheet Mask is available in four formulations – Moisturising, Brightening, Repairing and Toning. Trefiel initially launched with just the Moisturising mask but later rebranded and added 3 more masks to the line-up. I chose to review their original Moisturising Face Mask.  Continue Reading
