New Release Beauty Favourites April 2013

Wow. April flew by a little too quick for my liking. With all the madness of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia I completely lost track of time. Who knew 5 days of madness can create a black hole for time. I may have left it to the first day of May but I am not too late to share with you some of my favourite beauty products to launch in April … right?!?

April was a mammoth month for new beauty. A total of 87 new products crossed my path but not all were made equally. There were lots of new Mother’s Day gift-worthy releases but I am going to save those for another post. For now, these are the new April products topping my list. Continue Reading

A night time beauty regime can sometimes be my most hated of all regimes. Even if I don’t have a late night, by the time I go to bed I just want to hit the pillow and go to sleep. I am amazed I change into pyjama’s each night, let alone take off my makeup and apply a million skincare products. That is why I am a big fan of the all-in-one night treatment, so I was keen to try the new Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir.

An all-in-one is exactly what it sounds like. After cleaning your face you simply slap on one product and go to sleep. Would this Olay one work for me and solve my nightly skincare woes? Read on to find out. Continue Reading

I really like when big, multi-national brands appoint an ambassador to represent the local market. Olay did just that way back in 2006 with Deborah Hutton, but yesterday they announced their newest ambassador and she couldn’t have been more perfect for the job. Currently Australian TVs favourite mum, Rebecca Gibney can add another duty to her roster because she will be the new face of Olay Regenerist.

What Is Olay Regenerist

Olay Regenerist offers advanced anti ageing skin care products that help regenerate skin’s appearance without drastic measures. Formulated with an exclusive Olay amino-peptide and B3 complex, Regenerist incorporates other proven anti ageing ingredients such as vitamin E, pro-vitamin B5, green tea extract, allantoin and glycerin. Regenerist renews skin’s most-outer layer one cell at a time, helps regenerate its appearance quickly, and strengthens its moisture barrier.

What I Say ….

Personally, I am a huge fan of Rebecca Gibney. Aside from all the talent and niceness, I truly think she is a gorgeous woman. I have to say the idea of being in my late 40’s is something that terrifies me, but if I look like Rebecca does without having any work or anything, I would be quite happy.

Rebecca openly admitted at the press conference Continue Reading
