Sephora Australia Preview
I’m hoping you took a look at the video I shared yesterday of Sephora Australia’s exclusive preview event. If you did you should now be informed on which brands you’ll find inside the mega-beauty retailer come December, but I hope you didn’t think that was all I had for you? Tsk tsk tsk, you should know me better.

My quest for answers doesn’t cease when some shiny balls are thrown my way. Admittedly I do play with them for a while but I eventually get back to the job at hand. Once I was back on track I hunted down every Sephora Australia staff member I could and it made for some very interesting facts. Today I’m sharing with you the things I learnt during my time at Sephora Australia’s media preview.  Continue Reading

Sephora Australia Media Event Showcase

Writing that headline made me feel both sick and excited. Sick? What the? Well, if you have been following this blog for longer than a minute you will have probably seen me write about the ongoing rumors of Sephora’s plan to enter the Australian market. It’s spread like wildfire at least once per year for the last 5 years, but now in 2014 it’s no longer just a rumor. Sephora have released an official statement to confirm they will be opening a store in Sydney, Australia.

I would love to ramble on about the history behind past rumors and why I was so skeptical about sharing this news until a press release hit my inbox, but i’ve realised that will do no good. I could also talk about how Sephora earlier this year led Australian’s to believe they would be shipping to Australia from Sephora.com. Again, no point rehashing. However, now that the news officially broken that Sephora will indeed be opening a store in Australia I’d like us to take a quick bullet point look over what we do and don’t know … so far.  Continue Reading

Beauty Blog Coalition Online Shopping Tips

If there were just one minority of people who knew how to expertly shop online it would have to be bloggers. And if we were to narrow it down further, fashion and beauty bloggers would definitely be the most savvy shoppers of them all. As we prepare for the Boxing Day sales and New Year shopping madness I asked my fellow beauty bloggers from the Beauty Blog Coalition to provide their best tips for online shopping.

Bookmark this post, write a to-do list and prepare yourself because you will never shop online the same way again. But before we get into the tips from the other fabulous bloggers, let me share some of my own:  Continue Reading

Deborah Lippmann Sephora Exclusive Nail Lacquers

I was blessed to have previously met Deborah Lippmann and she impressed me beyond words. The only thing possibly more impressive than Deborah Lippmann is her amazing line of  Lippmann Collection nail lacquers. They are phenomenal and quite possibly the biggest indie nail polish brand in existence. Every nail lacquer lover should have at least 1 of her nail lacquers in their lifetime. And now for those of you in USA or Canada, you are going to be stoked to hear that Deborah Lippmann’s nail lacquers will be sold in Sephora.  Continue Reading

Sale letter tags

I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. Whether you had christmas festivities to enjoy or you were spending some quiet time to yourself, I hope you made the most of it and are feeling fulfilled. I often think this time of year is extremely commercial and while I hate to think I am a slave to consumerism, I know at heart I really am. Until I can overcome my internal battle with wanting new, shiny things I will embrace my desire to purchase the pretty things I like. For me, not celebrating Christmas means I don’t get to swap pretty things with my loved ones at this time of year so I look forward to the Boxing Day/Post-Christmas sales where I can buy exactly what I want. So today, this post is dedicated to all those people out there like me: slaves to consumerism and lovers of shiny things.

I have picked out the best of the best (which is practically all of them) sales, special offers, discounts and savings for you to take advantage of.

For those of you not in the USA, you may be confused by when the sales actually start and finish but don’t worry, most of them have already commenced and if you are confused about the times they finish just use the Time And Date converter to find out what time it would be in your part of the world. i.e. for sales that finish at 11:59pm on Wednesday (26/12) in the USA it will be 6:59pm on Thursday, (27/12) in Sydney, Australia.

Now let’s check out those fabulous deals!  Continue Reading
