We are Handsome

Beauty Director: Anni Hall

INSPIRATION

“This season we wanted to be brazen and work the latest We Are Handsome cossies with a seamless skin tone courtesy of St. Tropez. Giving the models a little extra confidence before walking the runway, we bronzed their bodies on the spot with St. Tropez’s Wash Off Instant Glow Mousse and Instant Glow Body Lotion.” – Anni Hall for St. Tropez Continue Reading

With our postal services chock-a-block with christmas care packages being sent to loved ones, I thought it would be fun to send out my own little beauty-inspired care package. To make it a bit different, I am going to make it all about Australian brands. If you didn’t know already, I am quite proud of our Australian beauty market and I don’t think it is fair for me to keep it all to myself.

The Competition

Up for grabs in this competition is what I would call ‘Australian Essentials’. Skincare, Suncare and of course … Fake Tan.  Continue Reading

ModelCo is a brand that gives me the warm fuzzy feeling. They are an Aussie brand and I have been following them since they launched Tan Airbrush in a Can all those years ago. Now, they are a cult brand worldwide but I have been with them since the beginning because of their truly innovative creations. If you have never tried one of their products then there is no better time than the present.

Starting this Sunday when you buy any single piece (that is only 1) from the new Jet-Set Minis collection by ModelCo, you will receive Continue Reading

Self-inflicted hair loss is my most common concern. I blamed my tight braids, hair irons and chemical damage. However, the fact remains that the leading causes for female hair loss are health related.

When my normal amount of hair fall dramatically increased, with noticeable receding of my hairline, I panicked. I didn’t know where to begin with treating it but I couldn’t understand why it was happening. I’d stop styling my hair in tight do’s, I rarely heat style and I haven’t dyed my hair in almost 2 years. I ruled out self-inflicted hair loss so I went straight to my GP (doctor) to ask for advice. It turns out that my female hair loss was completely reversible for less than $20!  Continue Reading

Beauty blogger Kimberly Nissen of The Plastic Diaries reviews Trefiel Lace Face Mask, Moisturising sheet mask skincare.

If you follow beauty on Instagram it’s highly likely you’ve seen the Trefiel Lace Sheet Mask. They look like a piece of black lace, often seen adorning the faces of cute beauty influencers. What they actually are is a range of sheet masks. Really pretty sheet masks.

The Trefiel Lace Sheet Mask is available in four formulations – Moisturising, Brightening, Repairing and Toning. Trefiel initially launched with just the Moisturising mask but later rebranded and added 3 more masks to the line-up. I chose to review their original Moisturising Face Mask.  Continue Reading
