We are Handsome

Beauty Director: Anni Hall

INSPIRATION

“This season we wanted to be brazen and work the latest We Are Handsome cossies with a seamless skin tone courtesy of St. Tropez. Giving the models a little extra confidence before walking the runway, we bronzed their bodies on the spot with St. Tropez’s Wash Off Instant Glow Mousse and Instant Glow Body Lotion.” – Anni Hall for St. Tropez Continue Reading

With our postal services chock-a-block with christmas care packages being sent to loved ones, I thought it would be fun to send out my own little beauty-inspired care package. To make it a bit different, I am going to make it all about Australian brands. If you didn’t know already, I am quite proud of our Australian beauty market and I don’t think it is fair for me to keep it all to myself.

The Competition

Up for grabs in this competition is what I would call ‘Australian Essentials’. Skincare, Suncare and of course … Fake Tan.  Continue Reading

ModelCo is a brand that gives me the warm fuzzy feeling. They are an Aussie brand and I have been following them since they launched Tan Airbrush in a Can all those years ago. Now, they are a cult brand worldwide but I have been with them since the beginning because of their truly innovative creations. If you have never tried one of their products then there is no better time than the present.

Starting this Sunday when you buy any single piece (that is only 1) from the new Jet-Set Minis collection by ModelCo, you will receive Continue Reading

This article is Part 1 of a three-part series about my personal experience with Blogger Burnout – My Demise + My Recovery + My Future

I started The Plastic Diaries in 2008, became a full-time blogger in 2010 and vanished from the blogging universe in 2015. Where did I go? Why? What happened to me? These are questions that have been asked of me during my 18+ month disappearance. The short answer was blogger burnout – a rarely spoken of condition that is fast becoming a serious concern amongst the influencer industry. I don’t believe bloggers owe anyone an explanation when they disappear but I know that when my favourites have gone AWOL I’ve missed them and been concerned for their wellbeing. I didn’t want to be another blogger who vanished without a trace and leave you wondering. I also believe Continue Reading
